Membership in the League is an essential base of support, allowing us to continue our work to Keep Tahoe Blue. When you become a member of the League you join thousands across the nation, and throughout the world, in support of science-based policies at Tahoe that protect its scenic beauty and environmental quality. Our members are the lifeblood of the League. Through their generosity and that of private foundations the League has  often served as the only voice for environmental protection at Lake Tahoe.A donation of only $25 entitles members to our print newsletters, annual reports, news alerts, action alerts, and invitations to various events through the year. 

There are numerous ways to contribute and show your support of the League's efforts to Keep Tahoe Blue:

Make a general donation to Keep Tahoe Blue. This is a gift from you to the League to Save Lake Tahoe to execute its mission of protecting and restoring the environmental quality, scenic beauty, and low-impact recreational opportunities of the Tahoe Basin. Becoming a member is easy and cost effective; it is only $25 for an annual membership in the League, but we happily accept larger gifts.

Honor a relative or friend with a donation in their name on a special occasion, such as a birthday, graduation, or wedding. When you pay tribute to someone in this way, the League will send a card of acknowledgment to the designated honoree. The card of acknowledgement simply states that a gift was given in honor of his or her special occasion with no monetary amount noted.

Memorialize a relative or friend at their passing with a contribution to the League in their name. When you make a memorial contribution the League will send a card of acknowledgement tot he recipient's family. The card of acknowledgement simply states that a gift was given in honor of the departed with now monetary amount noted.

Give a gift of membership to a relative or friend with a special connection to Lake Tahoe. When you give the gift of membership by donating to the League we will send a card to the recipient to acknowledge your gift. The card of acknowledgement simply states that a gift of membership from you was given to him or her, with no monetary amount noted.

The League to Save Lake Tahoe takes the confidentiality of your information very seriously. For this reason, we use the highest level of security technology provides when dealing with your credit card information. To guard against fraud, your information is securely encrypted and automatically passed directly to the financial network for processing. At no time is this information made available to any other party.

Gifts are also accepted by phone. Donate via phone by calling the League offices at 530.541.5388.

The League is a privately funded nonprofit 501(c)(3), relying solely on the support of its member contributions. Dues and contributions to the League are tax deductive to the full extent allowed by the law.
